Endeavour High School, in Hull, England, once a failing school in the third most impoverished ward in the United Kingdom, has undergone enormous changes since implementing restorative practices. In this video, Endeavour's students, who hail from 40 different countries, and its staff, talk about how restorative practices has, in the words of a British government OFSTED (Office of Standards in Education) report, made their school "a place where respect and safety are the norm".
Hull,UK, led by the Hull Centre for Restorative Practices and the International Institute for Restorative Practices, is endeavouring to become a "restorative city", where everyone who works with children and youth will employ restorative practices.
